Relaxing escape

Pros: The place is comfortable and quiet, suitable for those who want the relaxing atmosphere. Very recommended for those who are travelling. And there wasn't any weird smell like cigarettes, etc.

Cons: From what I see and experience, there are no whatsoever issues.

A small, clean, and compact room suitable for short stay

Pros: The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. The water pressure is strong for a nice shower.

Cons: The bathroom is quite small. The host can probably provide more kitchen amenities such as knife, peeler, cutting board, mini oven, etc.

Comfy place

Pros: The host was really friendly and very ready to help. The place was well designed, I'd say. A nice pantry to have food, tea bags were provided, and the room and bathrooms were spotless. It gave a homely vibe. It was well-equipped and had everything to make the stay comfortable. It's quite near to eateries, and Grab was easy to find. Very convenient location.

Pleasant stay. The family run business offers value for money accommodation, with very helpful staff

Pros: This homestay do not include any meal option. However, there are coffee shops directly opposite the homestay and a Food Court is about 10-15 minutes walk away.

Cons: All good.

Cosy Homestay

Pros: Quite a strategic location in Bukit Mertajam, just a few minutes drive to some famous food locations. Since it is renovated from a double-storey terrace house corner lot, cars can randomly be parked at the road side. The room I booked has a wardrobe that very less homestays have it as per its price charge. Room is nicely designed and decorated, bathroom is very clean with good water pressure, bed is very comfortable.

very homely feel but at the same time providing convenient facilities.

Pros: Very friendly host who was very accommodating. There was a very accessible pantry area to have coffee and light meals with a very sophisticated water dispenser. If you prefer fresh air, there is also an outdoor section with tables and chairs to have your tea and unwind. Parking was also ample.

Cons: Not related to the host, but the location may be further than I'd like to be able to get meals conveniently. However there's always food delivery services.
