Silvan Garden Cameron Highlands

Pros: The place is clean and minimally furnished which suits us fine. The location is good within walking distance from restaurants bars and many shops. The breakfast was sufficient .

Cons: The shower: you need to run it for a while before you get hot water, it definitely can do with a hot 🔥 water circulation pump.

Pros: I only stayed for one night but could have stayed longer. It's a lovely, very clean place. The room was perfectly equipped and the bed was great. The view from the roof top terrace is great and it's very close to town. The people there were very nice and helpful and there were a lot of options for breakfast.

Pros: The breakfast was great!! The rooftop terrace has a beautiful sunset and our balcony a nice view. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The room was very new, the bathroom a bit small, but everything very clean

Friendly, quirky, great location.

Pros: Silvan Gardens was, as expected, friendly and welcoming. Lift access so no hauling bags up stairs. Great location and view out over the valley and still an easy stroll down to restaurants etc. The bare concrete decor is unusual and arrangement of the shower in the toilet area was quite eccentric!

Cons: I wouldn’t have had the shower in the same place as the toilet- but as long as you planned round this it was all quite possible to keep toilet paper !dry

Pros: It's a cozy and well-managed boutique hotel. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast were really nice.

Great stay!

Pros: Great fairly new guest house on the edge of the village, easy walk into town and to local hiking trails. We had arranged a lift from the station to the accommodation in advance via a recommendation from the guest house and Mr Lei picked us up on time and was very helpful, friendly and informative. He also took us for a tour of the local attractions the following day. Staff were all happy to help where possible.

Cons: Whilst it was great to have a bath in the room, as a personal preference, we would have also liked to have a door to the toilet (rather than a curtain).

Pros: This was my first stay in a homestay with such thoughtful architecture and a wonderfully peaceful environment. Morning began with a comforting breakfast, filling not just my stomach, but my heart. Just outside, a small garden invited me to sit, watch the flowers, and enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. Inside, there’s a cozy little space — modest in size, yet warm and inviting — perfect for unhurried conversations. Upstairs, a larger communal area opened up to the sky, where I was lucky enough to catch a breathtaking sunset. The kindness of the staff made the stay feel effortless, almost like coming home. When I return to Cameron Highlands, this homestay will be where I choose to stay again.

Cute and calming staycation

Pros: Everything looks nice. The vibe is calming and relaxing. They also provides several common areas, so its good for those who want to socialise with other customers. The view is great. There is also a rooftop area where you can see even wider view.

Cons: The room is not sound proof enough. We can hear noises like people talking from the outside, corridor and the rooms next to us. The cemented floor is really cold especially at night. It's good that slippers were provided by them.

Pros: We had a short but sweet stay at Silvan Garden. Very nice and calm.
