Pitaloka The Lakes Homestay

Pros: We were very happy with our stay here. The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious. It is a new home in a new housing development, so everything felt fresh and well maintained. The homestay has four bedrooms and is very well equipped. They provided almost everything we needed, including a rice cooker, full kitchen utensils, instant noodles, Julie’s biscuits, and instant coffee packets. This was a really nice and thoughtful touch, especially for families. The only facility missing was a washing machine, but other than that, everything was excellent. The place is a bit tucked inside and slightly secluded, but the surrounding housing area near the lake is quiet, pleasant, and nice—perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

Pros: Very clean & comfortable house fully furnished & equipped

Cons: All good except that 2 middle rooms have no air-conditioning & are stuffy that have to sleep with doors open to get better ventilation. And most disappointing was the master bedroom has no water heater. It is important to have all rooms air-conditioned & water heater in bathrooms. Will recommend if above are installed.

A homestay that is just like home.

Pros: Location. It is very clean and there are sufficient beds/rooms for the family.

Cons: The shower head in the back toilet is loose. Need to get it repaired/ tightened.

A very pleasant homestay in the heart of Batu Gajah

Pros: Location is good. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and is closed to the town centre. The house is new with a modern and minimalist decor. It is spotless. It is also well equipped with all the necessary facilities that a traveller would expect. It is certainly good value for money. I would highly recommend this homestay.

Cons: 1. The blankets provided for some of the rooms are far too thin - Not suitable for sleeping in an air-conditioned room. 2. It would have been nicer if the sofa in the living room and the mattress used for the beds are not so hard. They are not comfortable to lie on. 3. I would suggest that the owner place a signage by the roadside leading to the homestay. At least, first time visitors would be assured that they are on the right track as based on our experience, it is not that easy to find the place.

Pros: Affordable price, the house is super clean. They even provide ice in the fridge. Accessible location in Batu Gajah.

Pros: Serius cakap, homestay ini memang tip top! Rumah sangat bersih, kemas, wangi dan super selesa. Masuk sahaja terus rasa macam rumah sendiri. Semua kemudahan lengkap dan dalam keadaan baik. Walaupun saya check out awal pukul 11 pagi dan semuanya smooth tanpa sebarang masalah. Owner pula memang terbaik sangat mesra, profesional dan paling penting sangat pantas reply WhatsApp. Apa saja tanya terus dapat respon. Servis macam ni memang jarang jumpa. Memang puas hati 100%

Pros: I loved this homestay! It was spotless and very tidy, with the beds perfectly made. A really cool feature was the host's complete Naruto collection—it's for display only, but it looks amazing. We also had fun with the card games available to pass the time.
