Luxurious 7 BR Heritage House in UNESCO Historic Geogetown

Wonderful Stay!

Pros: The premises were very clean and well equipped with all necessities. The house was beautiful and centrally located with abundant eateries within walking distance. All bedrooms were ensuite - a luxury indeed! A wonderful stay!

Cons: Nothing.

A real treat!

Pros: Everything! Our family of 10, from grandma to grandkid, everyone loved this this townhouse. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Common areas are big to accomodate everyone. Location is great!

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay here in these five days. The place is even better than we’ve expected. It is very spacious and well-designed. All our family members are very satisfied with the property. The property itself can be a tourist spot for taking different nice pictures. 😂 The location is great too as it is surrounded by different restaurants and museums within just 6-10 minute walk. It’s worth living here again when we travel to Penang next time.

Pros: This is my second time staying here. Awesome location with lots of cafes around, walkable distance to some of the attractions too. Rooms are clean. The price is very reasonable for big group.

Would have loved a longer stay!

Pros: Location was great, we were surrounded by cafe, restaurants and importantly, great hawker food options. We also loved the house, it was cosy but still accorded each family our own private area.

Cons: The road along the apartment was a bit narrow so we had to move our luggage out to the main road (as we booked a coach for our big group). Not a major issue. Would have been nice if the house had a dishwasher as well.

Excellent and memorable!

Pros: Excellent property, lovingly and beautifully restored with great amenities. The location was nice as well, at the heart of the old heritage buildings, within walking distances to all the lovely cafes, food courts, roti canai stalls, ice cream shops etc. The host who was in touch, Michael, was very professional and was promptly in touch whenever we reached out to him. Having stayed at many of the high end hotels/boutique accommodations around here the past 10 years, I can vouch that this was a gem of a property with very modern bathrooms and bedrooms (I am a stickler for clean and dry bathrooms which are often hard to find in Georgetown restored buildings especially a restored house- usually have had better luck with hotels- but this one had 7 en suite, all really well designed!). Would definitely recommend any family that wants to stay together and spend some time. We were able to celebrate the new year together as a family, having travelled to Penang from all over.

Cons: Security cameras all around the property but after letting Michael know that we felt uncomfortable about it (also illegal where we permanently reside), he consented to turning them off. I guess there were past situations that warranted this perhaps.

A perfect place for a big family life us

Pros: The location was fantastic, in the middle of the old centre. Very easy when a big group, everyone can do what they want and then meet very easily
