Mary's Residence Ipoh

Pros: well the gate , the gate is not working properly, because there was an incident where after I released the electric gate switch, the gate closed by itself.

Pros: Mary’s Residence has 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and accommodate up 14 pax, ideal for a family vacation

Pros: The owner, staff, rooms, location everything is perfect!

Great stay: place spacious and wonderfully presented. Hosts was really helpful and nice.

Pros: Spacious and clean; Beds were comfortable. Location easy to get to and near eating places

Good residence for big parties with privacy.

Pros: I like the fact that there was a coffee shop next to the house. There was another across the street and its within 2-3mins of walking. They only served breakfast. It's very near to the airport which is about 10mins away by car. It's pretty safe and you can walk out to find a mini mart and hair saloon. The house was generally clean. L1 has a suite that has 2 bedrooms. 1 is ensuite and another separate toilet at the living area. It gave separate families traveling together more privacy. The owner has their own private house behind. If they happened to come back, they will be there too. It gets a bit noisy in the early morning when the coffee shop next to it is opening for businesss. I did wake up to the noises but i can still get back to sleep.

Cons: L2 has 1 suite that is like a 2 bedrooms apartment. It has another 3 rooms with ensuite. However, if you closed your room's doors, you cannot get wifi. The aircon was on so there was no way to leave the door's open. And you wouldn't want to open the doors cos there are mosquitoes around. L1 suite has mouldy smell when we first entered. We guessed that it might not be occupied for sometimes and thus there is this smell.

Pros: It's very clean and spacious, and slso a short drive from the airport. Great apartment with 2 family suites and 3 other rooms. Amy was also very nice to check in on us and provided a lot of food recommendations plus advice on my itinerary. And there're a number of nice local good options around the property.

Cons: Mosquitoes were our enemies! And the drawback is that there's no sink at the pantry area. Have to go into the family suite to wash the utensils. Pillows were a bit hard for the 2nd set.

Pros: Big house, Many rooms, Clean. Location was fantastic, esp the coffeeshop across had tasty ipoh horfun & char kway teow. Host is super friendly.

Cons: The sofa in the living room not comfortable.

Pros: Great place for a big family or different families since they have 2 living rooms. Communication was also great. Instructions were clear and precise. Utensils were more than enough for everyone. Everything was top notch. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Cons: I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer 😄

This place to hard to beat for a big group traveling to Ipoh.

Pros: I like this property on two counts. First it is an ideal fit for our group of 11 people. The place is very neat and clean and comes with a nice garden. There are sufficient bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy and common areas for the group to get together for meals or just chat. The latter is hard to do staying at hotel. I also like that the property is located within what was a 'new village', I think. It is close to the city centre and yet gives us a feel of the yesteryears in Ipoh. There are many eating places within walking distance. We tried three places; one was excellent and two good. The host is the second reason that I rate this property high. She is friendly and quick to respond to her customers' needs. I really appreciate that. We even get two small plants from her garden, of couse with her permission.

Cons: The property is next to a coffee shop that operates from the morning to the afternoon. It is super convenient for food but can be a noisy in the early morning. If you plan to do big cookouts, this property is not meant for it. This did not borther us as we wanted to sample the food in Ipoh.

It was overall a lovely place to stay. Will definitely stay here again if I’m coming to Ipoh with my whole family

Pros: Loved how so many toilets there are as it mqkes getting ready easy and fast

Cons: High stairs and no proper kitchen area for cooking
