Good location & great for healing

Pros: Location - good even in the kampung area. Great for healing session. Host is super nice.

Cons: Cicak banyak tapi biasalah rumah kayu kampung. Acceptable.

Cons: Nothing to dislike if you're not too fussy. It's a homestay, don't expect 5 star hotel standards.

Lovely place to really meet local Malaysian culture and nature

Pros: The lovely house is located in a private garden and consists of a stone building with kitchen and big bedroom and a small woodhouse. With a small and steep staircase you reach a fairytale second bedroom. Under the firstfloor of the wooden house is a perfect outdoor spot to relax with television. The house is located in lovely surroundings with birds, palmtrees and within 100 meters a small river for cooling down. We came here by Grab and the owner was wonderfull in arranging car hire and our further transport. Shamsul is a very nice man and so punctual. He did his utmost best to inform us about the best sights and restaurants in the neighboorhood. By rentalcar we visited the nice waterfalls in Sik, the wonderfull Sireh Cave and the riverside Kampung Lubuk Pedati for drinks and dinner. Unfortunately we could not walk the Gunung Baling as the parkheadquarters were only open between 8.00-10.00. Homestay Bok Bak is a superb place to feel the local Malaysian culture and nature

Pros: I am very grateful to the host for welcoming us very kindly and kindly. The homestay provided is very good and can be rated 10/10. Conducive facilities and customer friendly. You are recommended to stay here. There is nothing lacking in this homestay. Very affordable.

Perfect stay in real kampung vibes

Pros: Wonderful stay with Shamsul and his family, we felt welcome and very comfortable in this beautiful house, it was well equipped and clean. Cozy outside area with television for the children to watch while the parents relaxed reading a book. The river close by was fun for the children to play in - loads of mosquitoes though. Shamsul was great, very helpful and nice to us, offering home made soursop juice and motorbike to make our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!
