Wonderfully peaceful stay. Staff went above and beyond to enhance my stay.

Pros: The staff. Everything catered for to make stay comfortable

Lovely people, spacious and comfy room

Pros: Very friendly staff/ people nearby. Especially the dad of the owner! Lots of space in room, hot water and air con, also refillable water. Can order grab food here too.

Cons: Not a lot of options nearby to do or for eating from walking. More our fault for not realising before booking.

Pros: The room was big and spacious, had everything needed. We checked in late which was no problem either. The owner was very nice and even took us to the beach on the first day, and quickly showed us his Durian trees on the second day which was super nice! Definitely recommend this place, it is located in one of the few villages left on Penang and thus a somewhat unique location. Very easy to get a grab to/ from the airport.

Great place for a relaxing break

Pros: Lovely cottage in a quiet part of Teluk Kumbar. Bus stop at the bottom of the road, so handy for the airport and the bright lights of George Town. The owner’s father could not have been more helpful.

Cons: Limited restaurants nearby, and I certainly could not find a bar. No problem as it gave my liver a rest….

Value of money

Pros: The cleanliness, the environment, very helpful owner.

Comfy, cozy and fulfilling short stay in cottage

Pros: Everything was perfect. Very homey and cozy. Air ventilation was great. Room was kept clean and smell nice. Basic amenities like cups, plugs, iron, heater, and airconds are provided in good conditions. Blankets and towels were provided too. They even have cats and chickens outside. Really lively, peaceful and breezy. I was provided 1 car park slot as well.

Cons: The location can be quite tricky. The path to the house is very narrow and it's one lane. Be careful and fully aware of incoming vehicle from another side before you make a move to cottage. Be patient when you're in this situation.

Great stay to get away from the hustle and bustle

Pros: The cottage is located in a lovely neighbourhood 10 mins walk from beach. 5 mins from 401/E buses and eateries Host was amazing and have me great tips on where to go. WiFi very fast. Oh and fishing boats and village are very close

Cons: Nothing. All perfect
