Pros: The location is strategic. Have a local food court for Muslims & Non Muslim. Less 5 min walking to Plaza Gurney.

Pros: position of the place, across food hawkers, self check-in/out.

Cons: bed was a bit small. im only 174cm but the bed is kinda on the short side since my foot is over the bed the whole time. and the position of the airco is straight to my head during sleep, so thats kinda a min poin there is a hot water but theres no tea etc. so that can also be upgraded a bit. shower head doesnt work properly( plugged a bit)

Great location, comfortable, perfect for relaxation

Pros: Location was perfect as it’s next to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Drive Hawker Centre at your doorstep (soundproofing is good). 7-11 on the same street. Very clean, strong shower, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, clean towels. I loved having a big window to let natural light in. Water dispensers, fridge, microwave were helpful to have. Interesting way to hang clothes! Aesthetically pleasing room design, friendly staff.

Cons: Nothing major, just finer details for consideration. Check in time was 3pm with limited flexibility, which was a shame as I arrived early in the morning, although I’m grateful to be able to place my luggage on premise. When I arrived I didn’t know how to get in as there was no one at the reception. Perhaps this is a strong point of the security. The room can benefit from a table lamp for additional light option. Also the wooden bed frame is a little hazardous as I kicked the corners multiple times even though I tried to avoid it- had to use the basket to cover the edge to prevent further injury.

Pros: My new favorite hotel in Penang! Spotlessly clean with super comfortable bed and convenient location just steps away from the Gurney Plaza Mall. All this and more for such an affordable price. Nice people too... highly recommended.
