Caryn Vintage Guesthouse

Pros: Location was really good. The room was really big. the TV was the span of the bed and had Netflix. It was quiet eventho its kinda on the main street. Charming wood flooring and ceiling. Feels like staying in an old house but its tarted up really nicely and homely. There were 2 kind size beds and ample space to sit around on the floor. Check in and out is very easy. Staff very responsive over whatsapp.

Cons: No attached bathroom but it cannot be helped because its an old charming shophouse. No water provided and no water filter. This is an upstairs accommodation. If u cannot carry your bags up, it is not for you.

Pros: The room is lovely! Very spacious and beautifully furnished, beds are massive and very comfy. For 2 people it’s more than enough. The location is prime, you’re right in the centre of things, stepping out onto beautiful old streets; tourist attractions, cafes, food court, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The price you pay for this prime location is quite some noise, also from the aircon. The aircon is necessary though (and very powerful) as the room can get pretty hot. Bathroom is ok, very clean, as was the room. Overall we’ve had a very nice stay.

Cons: I would provide small bottles of water for the arrival, helpful when it’s so hot.

Pros: Great location. Spacious room. Responsive and friendly host and very accommodating to our various needs.
