Pros: 1. Location - it is located in Kampar new town. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and stalls nearby. It is also near the main road of Kampar - KL / Kampar - northern parts of Malaysia. 2. Cleanliness - The hotel and my room are very clean. In fact the whole premise is clean. This contributes to a comfortable stay. 3. Spacious - I booked a twin sharing room. I was surprised to find that the room was comfortably spacious. 2 - 3 people can perform prayers simultaneously. 4. Hospitality - The hotel has trained its staff well. They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. .

My ONLY choice in Kampar for overnight stay.

Pros: Kampar is my hometown. When I travel back to Kampar for short stay, I always chose Grand Kampar Hotel. This is the best hotel in Kampar area. It's not luxurious, but decent and have everything I need. We took standard king room; it comes with basic furniture like bed, table, coffee table, chairs, TV (only local channels), kettle, cups, fully equipped bathroom with strong water pressure shower. The room is spacious, with wooden floor. Breakfast is included in the price. Decent local breakfast, nothing fancy. There is a rooftop swimming pool, but we never have chance to use it. Surrounding the hotel there are many eateries, mini markets, laundromat, Starbucks etc. super convenient. It is also near Utar and international school. It's wort for the price.

Cons: Nothing. It's absolutely worth for the price I paid.

Enjoyable and great stay for a family

Pros: Its a great stay with my family. The room was good, clean but the mattress was a bit slouched. The staff was nice. Breakfast was good too & the kitchen staff always top up the food. We also ordered the room service and the food was good, the price was affordable (RM18-RM35 for heavy meal). The location was good and very convenient (many restaurants/stalls, nearby also have econsave, family mart & watson). Besides, can go to Ipoh for other attractions in 30-40 mins drive. Plus point, the surrounding here was calm, full of green trees, feels very refreshing.

Cons: Should've put the air blower at the swimming pool area.
