Pros: The pool is gorgeous. I wish I had the time to take a dip in the afternoon. The room was super clean. The view was almost breathtaking if only Andaman Island looks prettier then it is. The place is close to alot of restaurants and food vendors. Easy to get Grab to travel around too.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at Sunrise Gurney. The location is excellent, with easy access to Gurney Drive, shopping malls, and a wide variety of food options. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment after a long day. The view was beautiful, especially in the evening, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and safe. The facilities were well kept, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it felt like a home away from home, and I truly appreciated the comfort, convenience, and peacefulness of the place.

Pros: Great location on gurney drive close to many food options and the malls. Comfortable and cozy. Not spotless but generally clean, some small maintenance needed here and there which has been communicated to the management so hopefully will be sorted by the time the next guest stays. Just to note you can’t see the sea from inside the apartment, only city view. There is sea view from the pool deck. Easy check in, good communication with the host, we had a plumbing situation which was sorted promptly!

Spacious apartment with view

Pros: Nice big apartment with kitchen, washing machine, all you might need for a family. The staff was very well prepared for our check in, we got clear instructions how to get in and how to leave the apartment. Its location is very good, a food court is just on the corner with a lot of local food to try. Gurney Park is just in front of the flat with playground and walking/running opportunities. Gurney Plaza is about 15 mins walk but it is worth to take a Grab wherever you go.

Cons: Worth to mention that out of the 2 bedrooms on the gallery the 1st one has no window at all and the 2nd one has a window opening to the living room, so no fresh air is coming in on it. But both rooms have AC, so for us it was not an issue in the end. And a tip not about the flat, but for those who experience the same: we noticed that Grab drivers hardly accepted or if accepted, cancelled our request continuously whenever our pick up location was our corner. However when we went to the Marriott lobby, which is the hotel next to us, we always got picked up immediately. Apparently drivers think guests from Marriott are worth more than guests from the street.

A convenient location

Pros: Location is very central with good access to town and to the beach. The guards are friendly and helpful.

Cons: The shower in the bathroom is poorly designed with the shower spraying water over the toilet and the lack of floor mat.
