Old but new vibes
Pros: The staff is friendly and accomodating.Always smilling and make us feel like at home and never felt lonely. The location is not far from the famous Love Lane or Komtar.I love the artwork and the ID for the double room and also the walkway.By the way,my room was like the opposite of the reception(Rope walk Cafe). Most important thing that they have iron and no deposit needed!
Cons: I've tried using the password given for the wifi but failed several times and in the end,I used my own data.At a point, I could hear clearly the sound of plank everytime someone stepped on it(well,I couldn't blame much as it is an old building). In the end,I still managed to sleep.

Cons: A few hooks in the rooms would be appreciated. Towels and shirts (post rain!)

Cons: I booked the single room expecting a window based on pictures, but the window was bolted shut during my stay.

Great value, clean, cute hostel
Pros: This place is such good value for money! The location made getting around/walking to get food so easy. The vibe of the hostel was so nice, really colourful walls and art. The building had the Georgetown character but it was also super clean. The downstairs is a cafe so you can socialise there especially in the evenings after the cafe is closed to the public. We stayed Tuesday-Saturday and it was quiet on Tuesday/Wednesday but then more people were staying on Thursday/Friday so it might be more social on the weekends.

Pretty decent place to stay right in the centre of George Town
Pros: The hostel is perfectly situated in the heart of George Town's historic district, close to most of the attractions. The room, bed, A/C were all fine. The showers/toilets upstairs are spacious and clean, it's in an open area, so, free from any musty smell or mould. Soap, toilet paper provided, but towel costs RM10. There's a water dispenser available. Overall pretty good, I'd stay again.
Cons: There is a coffee shop but it seems they are no longer serving. I rarely saw anyone in the common seating area, so if you are looking for vibes, this may not be an ideal place. Overall the place is pretty quiet. Yet, in the back alley right behind the hotel live quite a few (10 or more?) chickens, roosters, geese, etc, so it can be quite noisy whenever they crow be it early in the morning or throughout the day!
