Pros: Very clean and very nice view from our room, the person in charge is very friendly and helpful too

Pros: Location great. Near to jetty and food area. Good own Seafood restaurant down stairs. Room and toilet utilities are of good qualities.

Cons: Room a bit small & air conditioner not adequate although fan was provided.

Pros: I like the location, my room was overlooking the Chinese Fisherman Village and the river. Saw birds, monkeys from afar, and boats went in and out for fishing. The owner/ manager/ caretaker (Mr. CK Khor) was so helpful, friendly & pleasant. He assisted us in so many ways that he could.

Cons: A slight smell of fish, seafood here and there, considering there are boats at the jetty, the hotel is quite close to fishmongers area... but that's OK for me most of the time.

Pros: Nice welcome, great view, great restaurant just below hotel

Cons: There are a few parking slots in front of the hotel, but no guarantee that you get one. We were lucky.

A Peaceful Getaway Sanctuary with a Lovely Riverview

Pros: Very clean and well maintained premise and rooms. The location is strategic and convenient, where it is nearby the jetty to river cruise and morning market for breakfast. Owner is friendly and helpful.

Cons: The water sink is next to the bed and rather close. TV is small. Rain shower in the bathroom could be bigger.

Pleasant

Pros: Spotless clean, new facility, modern design. Comfy bed, spacious room. Near the jetty - walking distance. Responsive and friendly host. Khor shared many useful suggestions since there are limited information about Kuala Sepetang online. View from the room, 180° - from the jetty up to the eagle feeding points. My special requests were attended. Mineral water (Spritzer 1L x 2 bottles) with instant cup noodles were complimentary - thoughtful. Note: 3 floors and lift is available. The owner took the previous customer's feedback seriously.

Cons: The room was warm even though the AC settings adjusted to 16°C, perhaps due to the heat from sunset hardly subsided. Khor has mentioned this upfront and there is a standing fan provided. The smoke smells from the neighbourhood area caused me hard to sleep - my nose is sensitive to any smokes. The temporary reception area was locked and nobody was there, no signage on the door. The official reception area being upgraded and reno is underway. Had to walk up to the restaurant and ask around. The check-out process was also not straightforward due to this but Khor is responsive. Room price is considered expensive if I were to compare with Klang Valley or Penang but there were not many options.

Comfortable & pleasant

Pros: The view from the balcony is beautiful. The room is clean & spacious. The lift is new. The staff was friendly. The owner Mr. Khor was very helpful, to the extent of arranging locksmith for us when we locked our car key in the car boot.

New lifestyle experience

Pros: Very hot during Chk in see whether to add in blind or window shade ..

Cons: Sound proof need improvement, add in bed should come with bed not just mattress only ..

beautiful & relaxing place to stay.

Pros: The lift was not ready for operation, so we had to climb up to the unit for our stay. Having elderly in the group, immediately, the management arranged and helped to provide stools on every floor, so that if the elderly is tired, they can sit and rest before moving up. And just before we left, they found that we had a jacket left in the room and quickly, they called and brought it over to us. Its a very friendly, very clean, neat and tidy hotel stay. Everyone looks friendly and helpful. And we had a good and peaceful view from the balcony. highly recommend this place to stay over.

Cons: it would be perfect if the lift was in operation.
