Pros: Very comfortable bed & sheets. Access to filtered water. We booked as we thought walking distance to train station and there is a nearby food hawker area. Busy main roads, heat, heavy rucksacks & area vibe led to a cheap grab to station only 7rm. Hotel good, immediate area has a hawker market with a few dining options but area not pleasant to walk around.

Spotlessly clean and convenient, but Room 117 has noise issues

Pros: I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel; it is easily one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. From the room and bathroom to the shining corridors, there wasn't a speck of dust in sight. Although the room is small and compact, the bed was very comfortable with fresh linens, and the lady at reception was both professional and welcoming. The location is also unbeatable—extremely convenient for anyone needing to be near Penang Sentral.

Cons: The stay was marred by significant noise problems in Room 117. The plumbing allows you to hear every shower taken in the rooms above, and our own shower had a constant, maddening drip down the drain that required us to weigh down the cover to stop the sound. Between the dripping and an aircon unit that sounded like a windstorm, it was very difficult to relax. Hopefully, management can look into these maintenance issues.
