Pros: The location was very central and surrounded by different food options. It was quiet. Nice decor. The cafe below meant we could easily grab a meal or drink.
Cons: The toilet got wet easily. It will be nice to have a box of tissue in the guest house. Wish we could have a small discount on a meal or free drinks since we stayed for a couple of nights as well

Charming!
Pros: Great cafe downstairs that served really good food, deserts and drinks. Friendly staff. The room is really clean and nice, and quiet at nice. Would visit again!
Cons: A bit of a walk to the Haji Lane area, but conversely close to the Jalan Sultan Iskandar food area.

Short stay at Ipoh
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The toilet was clean and had good water pressure for showering as well. The place is quiet at night which allows for a good night rest. They also have a water refill just outside the room in the common area which was really convenient. The location of the guesthouse is near the attractions by foot or by car. There are also many food options around the area.

Pros: Great clean and comfortable place to stay. It has some nice local food spots to try within a close proximity, but be prepared to catch a Grab or walk around 20-minutes to Old Town or some of the local pubs. This wasn't an issue for us though. The food at the hotel restaurant is great and it is absolutely full by night time which indicates its quality.
Cons: Only slight is it doesn't open until 10am, so you'll have to look elsewhere for breakfast if you want an early start. Although late-opening times are generally a theme around Ipoh.

Pros: Room was quite spacious and was clean. Had an old world charm with some modern fittings. Drinking water was available all the time. They have a nice cafe downstairs with a good vibe. Food and coffee was good. Cafes and restaurants usually shut early in ipoh so it was good to know there was a cafe downstairs that stayed open till late. Staff was very kind and attentive. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Convenient cafe and guesthouse for short travel.
Pros: Nice room with a cafe downstairs, coffee and dessert are nice available till 10pm. Hand brewed coffee has good value for the cost. Convenient location of walking distance to night market and famous chicken rice restaurants. About 10mins taxi to either railway station or airport. Highly recommend for coffee lover and traveler.
Cons: Good to add a small bench in room for luggage. Hot drinking water is not available at level 2, suggest to repair the faulty boiler.

A cozy guest house; café-style stay with great food and ambience. An ideal spot for backpackers!
Pros: A Great Backpacker Stay with a Delightful Café Vibe An excellent spot for backpackers. Comfortable, well-located, and thoughtfully designed. The room had a relaxed, travel-inspired atmosphere that suited my trip perfectly. What truly stood out was the café. The ambience was warm and inviting, ideal for unwinding or catching up on work. The tiramisu was outstanding, and the coffee and food were just as impressive. A hidden gem I would gladly return to.
Cons: Parking was a bit of a challenge as there’s no designated area available nearby, which can be inconvenient if you’re driving. Additionally, due to the room’s layout and proximity to the main road and internal walkway, noise from outside and passing guests was occasionally disruptive, especially at night.
