Nice Inn

Pros: Mr cheoh(i hope i got the name right) was very nice gave a lot of good info about the city when i checked in. Rooms are good and location is also good

Pros: Mr Cheau was very helpful and friendly and he had good advice for the area. The hotel staff were friendly and my room was clean. Thankyou for a great stay.

Pros: The staff is quite friendly and willing to help. Overall the experience is quite good and there also got good food over there.

Pros: The staff was super welcoming. Before arriving, I received a lot of links for activities and places to eat. It was a nice way to discover the city. The street is calm and not too far from the city center of Penang. The street is full of many restaurants and it was a pleasure to visit them each day. I really recommend the Luck Luck bakery. So good and staff is so nice. Thank you for this really nice stay. I'll be back for sure.

Pros: Our accommodation was located near the main attractions, could either just walk or book a Grab to go there. The room was just nice to accommodate me and friend as most of the times we were outside. In terms of: Cleanliness: good and I love it! Comfor: Quite comfortable as the accommodation was at the town, it tends to get noisy during the night. If you’re a light sleeper, it may quite uncomfortable but for me (as a light sleeper), it’s bearable. Owner and staff: Both owner and staff were so good to us. Helped us so much and friendly!

Good Budget Place

Pros: Good size room. Room was regularly cleaned or offered to be cleaned. Bottled water in room and free filtered water provided. Close to many restaurants and bakeries. Host was nice and arranged my taxi for me on departure as well as transport to the Tropical Spice Garden. I probably should have asked for his help finding the street art as I wasn't very successful.

Cons: Bed was a bit hard but that appears to be typical in the country. The neighbors in the hotel were very loud in the hallway even when early or late. There was loud music in the neighborhood a couple of nights till early morning but that might be due to the holidays Also there were mothballs in the stairway which were very strong smelling.

Pros: Consistently prompt reply from owner on our enquiry.
