Great place would recommend it

Cons: A little noisy but ear plugs provided

Great and clean place to stay in Ipoh

Pros: This is a self-checkin hotel but the communication with the owner was very friendly and responsive. They made every effort to make it a good stay for us. Our room was simple but spacious and clean. In general, everything was very clean (also the shared bathroom). Location is great: it's a short walk from the train station and the historic city center is basically right across the street. It also comes with a kitchen (we didn't use it but everything looked very clean). We liked that they had a water dispenser to refill our bottles. Good way to avoid plastic waste. We would absolutely stay there again.

Cons: The self-service and the two different locking-systems (code and card) take a bit getting used to, but they send you a good explanation how it works beforehand. Our room and the (shared) bathroom get quite warm (our room had an AC, the bathroom does not, so hurry up on the toilet!). This might be different on the ground floor, where you're not directly below the roof.

Pros: Really loved our stay here. Beautiful room and very clean. Perfect location

Cons: The only thing is that it does not have curtains for the roof windows

Cons: For a hostel there is no real common area or social feel

Pros: Great location for exploring Ipoh. Staff were very communicative. Good facilities and was able to store our luggage before checking in.

Cons: There was a lot of road noise but I managed to sleep well despite this

Cons: Nothing if I’m honest

Pros: Spacious room for a budget stay. Smooth check-in/out even without a front desk. Bonus points for the washing machine, dryer, and iron, super convenient.

Pros: Great location in the old town just 300m from concubine alley. The room was modern and clean and the ensuite room was a good size.

Cons: The room was incredibly hot and stuffy as soon as you turned the air conditioning off durong the day. The windows were in the roof so couldn't be opened to let any airflow in. This also meant the sun was directly into the room all day when you're out exploring. I was there in October when it isn't extremely hot so it may be hotter in peak summer. However, the air conditioning and fan worked very well so heat wasn't an issue overall. This hotel/hostel is self check in and I didn't meet anyone who worked there during my stay. It was also very quiet when I was there so if you're looking for a social, communal area this hostel isn't it. However, the ensuite room I booked was well appointed and I enjoyed my stay.

Pros: It’s a good hotel/hostel. It was very quiet when I stayed. Room and bed super spacious and small locker is provided too. Washing machine is available and kitchen is neat and essentials are there. Location is fine too pretty close to railway station.

Cons: Shower wasn’t getting so warm, no AC in common areas only fan. Would have been nice to have bigger lockers and better place to hang some clothes or towels. There was plenty space in the room for a clothes rack.
