Lovely property to explore Cameron Highlands

Pros: Beautiful property preserved like a time capsule. The garden is enchanting and a bit like an oasis. The room was very spacious and decor kept with the time - everything was very cohesive. Breakfast was delicious and restaurant also offered a very nice dinner menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Very good location between all the highlights of Cameron Highlands

Wonderful

Pros: Really lovely and full of character. Great food (breakfast, dinner and scones!). Great bar area, lounge and gardens. Peaceful and relaxing and the perfect place to enjoy the Cameron Highlands fresh air. You can walk to some places nearby (food places, night market). I was telling my Malaysian friend about my trip and she said she thinks it is the best hotel in the Highlands.

Cons: It is slightly dated and there is some traffic noise, but I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Overall, it was a warm, pleasant stay with great service — especially thanks to Uncle Shan’s exceptional hospitality.

Pros: We had a great experience at Smokehouse Cameron Highlands. The place is cozy, charming, and the atmosphere feels very welcoming. The service was excellent, and I especially want to highlight Uncle Shan — he is a very good security personnel, friendly, helpful, and always attentive. His warm attitude and professionalism made our visit even better. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Just what we hoped for after some days at sea level

Pros: The location was super, as we expected, the food was pretty good. The staff were attentive.

Cons: The staff in the dining room 'hover' over you, waiting to help as quick as possible. Perhaps it would be better to stay out of sight a bit more.

Was a short WFH escape from the city. Perfect “home office”.

Pros: Been here almost every year. Peaceful. Not hectic like typical hotel.

Pros: Tha ambience, the room especially the toilet very clean and nice design.

Cons: The breakfast, may be could include local breakfast menu.

Quaint Britain in Malaysian setting

Pros: Still one of the most amazing historic stays in Malaysia. The gardens, the rooms, the open fires… all so cosy and perfect.
