Good location, comfortable and very helpful staff

Pros: Very helpful staff member. Room was comfortable and everything worked well. 15 min walk from the station and a few restaurants within walking distance. 15 minute walk to the museum and the lake garden.

Cons: Shower right next to the toilet with no divider

It was owned by a passionate hotelier and understood well the budget guest expectations.

Pros: car parking is a bit tricky but manageable, and a bit more soundproofing would be good..

Pros: Comfy beds, pillows. Clean room and toilet. Extension, hair dryer, iron n board is available to be used. Amenities like shower n shampoo, kettle n 3 in 1 coffee is included. Token such as snacks n water bottles from the hotel before check out is really appreciated

Cons: The stairs quite steep. Not wheel chair friendly

Pros: The friendly and helpful staff guided us for eateries and places to visit around the area. The location is amazing with a stone away from the telegraph muzium and some famous town murals for wefie. We checkin right after office hour rush in the evening so we managed to get a good parking space. Some cute cafes available right opposite of the road for late night coffee and supper.

I had a comfortable stay and satisfied overall.

Pros: The hotel location was a walking distance to my running event spot and the beautiful Taiping Lake Garden. Shops are close by too in walking distance. Room was clean, comfy bed, coffee, water, kettle , iron board facility provided, aircond etc were superb. Frontdesk was very friendly and a quick room assistance was provided upon calling.

Cons: The bathroom somewhat looked clean but definitely need to upgrade to a better looking, it will add a great value of satisfaction.

Pros: Friendly staff, have good communication with customers. Most importantly, this hotel is aesthetic with plants in every corner. Easy parking & near restaurants. Worth spending.

Good, comfy and excellent stay!

Pros: Location is in taiping town, very comfortable environment, soft bed with basic necessities provided, very friendly staff.. Only disadvantage is no lift to go up the room as it is a bit inconvenient for elderly.

Cons: If simple breakfast can be provided..

Barrack St - Best hotel to stay in Taiping!

Pros: Mr Shaiful was super friendly and very, very accommodating. He helped carry our bags up to the 2nd Floor and always held the door for us when we came in and left the lobby. He truly made the stay so nice. We left having felt that we had made a friend. The location is also fantastic, next door to the Galeri Kebudayaan Taiping and walling distance to the city centre and food courts.

Cons: Not much, just that some ventilation in the bathrooms would help. Water was also always hot, even when the heater wasn't switched on. I think the pipes are outside the building.
