IPOH City Horizon08 - 8 mins to Concubine Lane and Old Town Ipoh

Pros: The room was great with a nice view, clean with everything you need. Check in and check out was easy, the view from the rooftop pool was incredible, i stayed at kuala Lumpur, penang and here all with rooftop pools but this was my favourite of all of them. Also the easiest kandar restaurant next door was top notch. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: - Excellent natural lighting and fresh air circulation - Spotlessly clean with brand new furniture throughout - Complimentary water dispenser - very convenient for refilling clean drinking water

Cons: The pillows in all bedrooms are too flat and need upgrading for better sleeping comfort. Recommendation: Replace with firmer, thicker pillows or provide additional pillows for guest comfort.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Pros: Appartement propre et confortable avec une petite cuisine d’appoint pratique. L’appartement est proche des supermarchés et à 8 min en voiture du centre ville. L’hôte, Rachel, est très gentille et réactive.

Guter Kurz-Aufenthalt in Ipoh

Pros: Die Wohnung ist geräumig und von der Lage her in Ordnung. Ein Grab in die Innenstadt kostet circa 7RM. Rachel antwortet bei Problemen sehr schnell, und gibt sich große Mühe für alles eine Lösung zu finden. Kleine Supermärkte und Essensmöglichkeiten befinden sich gleich in der Nähe. Der Pool ist groß und wir haben immer eine Liege bekommen. Die Aussicht ist toll!

Cons: Durch den weißen Boden sieht man leider jedes Haar/ jeden Dreck. Hierfür kann die Eigentümerin nichts, aber das Gebäude ist so schlecht verbaut, dass es in den Bädern jetzt schon anfängt an der Decke zu schimmeln. Die Dusche ist sehr einfach gehalten: keine Duschwand, so spritzt das Wasser beim duschen ins Bad und der Duschkopf lässt sich nicht wirklich verstellen. Der Pool im 22. Stock hat zwar eine tolle Aussicht, ist aber sehr dreckig. Die Küche ist nur sehr spärlich ausgestattet, was für uns jedoch kein Problem war.

Great stay in a wonderful town.

Pros: Fantastic apartment in a very convenient location. Very clean and comfortable with a very responsive host. A small balcony was a nice bonus.

Cons: Nothing to do with the apartment which was perfect. We chose this apartment in part because of the rooftop lap pool as we are keen lap swimmers. However no matter what time of the day or night we tried the pool was full of children and families - I think the maximum we counted was 56 - making lap swimming impossible because of the unpredictable nature of children (and some adults!). If you are choosing this location on the basis of the pool for lap swimming be warned - it may not be possible. I am not sure how or if this issue could be overcome but it was the only disappointment in a lovely stay in a fantastic town (think Penang 30 years ago before the tourist boom).

Un séjour agréable à Ipoh

Pros: Appartement spacieux, propre, fonctionnel, hôte serviable et réactive. Climatisation dans chaque pièce doublée de ventilateurs au plafond. Vue sur de jolies collines. Zone de dépose pour les grab/taxis.

Cons: Nous n'avons pas pu accéder à la piscine des 2 jours car trop de monde et tous les transats pris. Nécessité de prendre un taxi pour aller en ville.
