Hotel O City Hostel Ipoh

Nice semi private rooms within a short walk of Ipoh.

Pros: Private rooms with a small bed, wardrobe, and fan. Shared bathrooms and a small common kitchen area. Short walk to the main areas of Ipoh. Good wifi. Also it's very near the bus station.

Cons: The walls to the rooms don't go all the way up so you can hear your neighbors and see their lights if they have them on at night but it's much better than sleeping in a shared dorm.

Pros: Stayed here twice now. Cheap as chips and only a 15 min walk into town thru little India.

Cons: Last time I was here I was plaques by snorers, this time was silent and I had a great sleep.

Pros: Location is close to the bus and train station (5 min walk from the bus, 15 to the train), 10-15 min walk to the main city center (the whole city is walkable tho). Staff was friendly and helpful. The cubicules aren't really big but provided enough privacy for me and the bed was comfortable. The whole place was clean and the ac was good. I felt safe in the area even at night (10 pm).

Cons: Kitchen is only a sink and water supplier, no stove/microwave.

Pros: Great location, It was within walking distance to the train station and the bus station. It was near the city centre,

Cons: Could provide toilet paper in the toilet for convenience.

Good value for money.

Pros: Good location. Cost not high. Clean. Facilities well maintained.

Cons: The air con makes a little bit too cold. Otherwise it was all good.

Pros: Stuff was really friendly and helpfull. Property has everything needed (hairdryer, microwave etc.). Room was clean and nice and there was locker. Hotel other quest was all males but I did not feel uncomfortable or faced any issues here.

Cons: The area is a bit questionable. I wouldn't walk outside alone at night time. At the day time no problem! The rooms had a gap between walls and ceiling so that air could flow. However, this resulted in all the sounds coming from other rooms and the room was not dark at night.

super good value stay for cheap. just need to wrestle climbing up the stairs. the stay is pleasant!

Pros: facilities are befitting it as a hostel. individual rooms but with shared facilities. personal privacy and numerous showers. no problem to wait for toilet and showers

Cons: got to climb up the stairs, there was no elevator. but it was expected, and i mostly am out and about anyway

Pros: I like everything, receptionist who assisted us the very moment we arrived at the property made me had a very nice first impression on the hotel. 🤗 Rooms are clean, aircond sejuk beku, got quite plenty of parkings even tho we came on public holiday. For rm36, this is very excellent!
