Affordable and comfortable lodging

Pros: Rooms, building and facilities look like newly upgraded. New wall paintings, new bed, bathroom ware etc. First hotel from the train station, walking distance. Halal food just opposite the hotel. Food court nearby. Within the heritage trail. Can just walk.

Cons: 4 storey building without elevator. :-( Not suitable for old folks. Carrying heavy luggages is a challenge. Thank you to Phillips for giving me a 1st floor room.

The budget hotel worth your buck

Pros: Excellent location. Walking distance to places like Thean Chun and Concubine Lane. Walking distance to Ipoh KTM station. Clean and comfortable room. Easy check in and check out system. Water dispenser available.

Cons: No lift, but not too big an issue because they allow the option of choosing your preferred floor in Booking site (but still pending availability). Not very sound proof so you will hear traffic.

Good value for 1 or 2 nights

Pros: It is a basic but good value hotel, ideal for 1 night I'd say to explore Ipoh. Friendly staff and straightforward check-in. Felt very safe.

Cons: Not really a big issue but it is close to a prayer tower, so you will probably wake up earlier than usual.

Nice & clean Hotel but be aware of the nearby Mosque!

Pros: Nice, helpful staff. Quick help, when power broke down in our room at 11 pm. We were quickly switched to another room.

Cons: Mosque directly across the street; not really the hotels fault, but it was quite annoying to be awoken by the muezzin calls at 6:30 am.

Pros: Clean room; with comfortable bed, big wc shower, near many restaurant and old town, staff is friendly, the staff gently help me to cary my heavy luguage up to the 3 floors

Cons: There is a Mosque 100 m away so every prier you imagine, there is big traffic with road next hotel so is quit noizy, neighboor noizy at night no body care, room was on 3 floor no lift,
