Pros: Returning for the Chinese New Year celebration, I found the hotel bustling with guests as always. We had missed out on staying here during our previous visits due to it being fully booked, so I was especially pleased that we managed to secure a reservation well in advance this time. Breakfast was exceptional—always an extraordinary start to my day. It's truly a highlight I eagerly anticipate each visit. Mr. Raj, the General Manager, was exceptionally thoughtful, personally assisting me with parking challenges throughout my stay. As it rained nearly every day, his support proved invaluable. Traveling while pregnant, accompanied by my husband—who was recovering from a knee injury—and our two young children, I found the valet parking service to be a true lifesaver, ensuring our comfort and easing our experience.

Cons: Communication from the front desk was generally helpful, though there was a mix-up regarding my parking arrangements. Fortunately, the attentive assistance of the General Manager, Mr. Raj, and the Duty Manager, Karthiga, quickly resolved the issue and ensured a smooth experience.

Excellent Stay

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was very good, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable. We requested for the bedsheet to be changed as it was not up to our expectation, and the housekeeping team responded immediately and changed it on the spot. We truly appreciated their quick action and professionalism. The lounge was very nice and conveniently located on the same level as our room, which made access easy and comfortable. The desserts selection was especially impressive — beautifully presented and delicious. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We also had dinner at Cili Kampung on the 2nd level, and it made our trip even more memorable. The food was excellent and added a special touch to the overall experience. Overall, it was a great stay with warm hospitality, and we would happily return again

An enjoyable stay

Pros: The staff are friendly, The room was comfortable and the in house catering very varied and tasty (but much more Asian than western). No waiting for the lift. The swimming pool was on the small side but we essentially had it to ourselves so that didn't matter.

Cons: The respectably large TV was a non smart unit so limited to Malaysian channels and BBC news. Consequently no streaming services and to plug in a HDMI cable you would have to remove the TV from the wall.

Pros: The staff - from bell boy to front desk to restaurant manager and crew, they were superb! Very friendly and doing their very best to help. Shout out to Rahimi and Vivienne for being always so sweet and kind. My 86 year old elderly mother was on a wheelchair and everyone was kind to her. Must also highlight the breakfast buffet which is excellent! It is rare to get such standard for hotel buffets in general. The food changes daily and the local Chinese & Malay delights and also Indian prata / curry are lovely. The crew there has been very polite and helpful as well.

Cons: Gym is not airconditioned and the pool is a little small for a hotel of this stature and price.
