Pros: Convenient location, clean and well kept room. Free water and fresh towels everyday. Great priced breakfast

Cons: Personally I think giving free sachet of tea or coffe would enhance the experience. If the pressure of water was better and shower heads were different then I think this room would be perfect. ( but again that’s only personal preference)

Really nice place to stay

Pros: Great location in town just behind the Main Street and close to all shops and food. Easy to walk along trails direct from the hotel. Good breakfast served from 7.00am. Communal fridge on the first floor corridor was very useful.

Cons: Take shoes off and leave on a rack downstairs which is good, however, my sandals then went missing from the rack! A day later I saw another guest wearing my sandals and when asked she gave them back to me! Obviously this is down to the guests not the hotel, my sandals aren’t expensive or I wouldn’t have left them on the rack but worth noting that things can ‘walk away’

Pros: Well situated, very clean, comfortable beds, balcony with chairs, good wifi; good hot water, windows you can open, quiet, very good breakfast and pleasant dining room, staff is professional, nice and very helpfull.

Excellent little place. Will stay again.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Hillview. It’s a good location, the staff are helpful and friendly and they serve breakfast and offer tours.

Wonderful place to stay in Tanah Rata

Pros: Excellent location, just enough away from the centre to be nice and quiet, with lovely views, but still a quick walk into town.The hotel is a beautiful old building surrounded by pretty gardens, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful, with useful information about hikes etc, and they will make an inexpensive breakfast in the morning.The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower as hot as you wanted. The laundry service was brilliant, cheap and fast.

Cons: Being very picky here, there's only a cold tap in the bathroom sink, no shower curtain so the bathroom gets wet, and no hairdryer. Don't let that put you off from staying in this lovely place.

Pros: Very close to the centre, yet pleasantly detached from the main road, so there was no traffic noise. We were warmly welcomed at the door by the generous Velu, who offered us a private tour away from the main crowded tourist locations, which was fantastic both for us and for our kids. We truly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend this place.
