Apple 1 Hotel Queensbay

Great location, comfort stay

Pros: The location is super nice for those who are especially taking aeroline bus to Penang. The hotel is just opposite the dropoff point of aeroline bus in Queensbay mall and you will see the Rutin restaurant, the hotel is just behind it. I was lucky that the hotel upgraded me from single room to double room and it is in the same building of the registration counter, i really appreciate the upgrade and it makes my stay more comfortable. I wanted to give compliments to Ms Afika and Mr B for the hospitality and being helpful in taking care my luggages. Will come back again.

Cons: The room is bit small but good to move around within the room for one person. My room is near the staircase hence there was some noise of people walking in the first night, but the night after was ok.

Overall nice.

Pros: There was a leaking issue in the bathroom for one of the rooms. But the staff changed the room immediately.

Cons: We got the room in a different building from the reception desk. The staircase to the first floor is VERY steep and very narrow, one misstep and you're humpty dumpty. Going up was better but going down was scary especially because we have heavy luggages.

Pros: Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Location is just great! Near to good food and great shopping!

Pros: William had a pleasant stay at the Apple 1 hotel, thanks in the part to the secure door lock that made him feel at ease. Plus, its location near Queensway and the Aeroline Bus stop was super convenient.

Great room, very comfortable!

Pros: Surprisingly clean room, felt skeptical when booking but turned out better than expected! Just that the noise from planes can be loud.

Cons: TV wasn’t working well, it will stop playing.

A good value for money hotel!

Pros: The location was great, where you can find good food , good shopping and good road connections to other parts of Penang. A big shout-out to Mr. B for great service at reception.

Cons: The only thing one needs to consider when choosing to stay here is that one has to negotiate stairs as there are no lifts in the hotel. Apart from that, this is one hotel I would book to stay in again!

It is worth the money staying there

Pros: The location is strategic to Quensbay Mall and other shops and restaurants. The room is spacious,clean and well maintained.

Cons: Parking space. There are not many designated parking lot for hotel customer but you can anywhere around hotel area and got discount for parking fee when you go out,I think rm8.00 per day which is reasonable.

Worth the money.

Pros: The location because it’s a stone throw away from the Queensbay Mall. The room is exceptional especially the family room with bunk bed. It can accomodate 5 person comfortably. Not to mention the pillows provided were more than enough. Water cooler and iron are available every level.

Cons: No lift/elevator so you need to ‘hike’ the stairs especially if your room is at the 2nd level. If you want to iron your shirt,you need to insert the room key at the key slot otherwise there will be no electric thus cannot use the iron. Then,of course you have to be in a dark room for several minutes since you have taken out the room key. The parking. You are lucky if you can find a car park within the premise,if not you have to wait and hope that someone leaves their spot and then you can occupy the car park.

Pros: Got smoke smell out of no reason, otherwise everything is fine

Great value for money

Pros: Everything was great. Comfy, cozy and clean. Location was superb and staffs were awesome.
