Two nights in a lovely room with a very helpful owner ensured we got the best out of Ipoh visit

Pros: Lovely boutique B&B conveniently located for short walks into the old town and nearby restaurants. Debbie the Owner/manager was super friendly and helpful in every respect. She recommended a local Chinese restaurant for dinner and it was the best Chinese meal we've had in many years so went back for a second night!

Friendly and good value hotel. A good choice in Ipoh.

Pros: The staff at Bedrock couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The room was large, comfortable and equipped with a drinking water dispenser and espresso machine. The location is good for the new town and evening restaurants. The old town was about 15 minutes walk away. Central Ipoh is very compact, so the town is easy to explore on foot.

Fabulous central hotel in Ipoh.

Pros: This is a beautiful small hotel situated on a quiet street away from all the traffic noise. It is superbly decorated with attention to detail and some interesting artwork around every corner. The colour schemes are really attractive. The junior suite was delightful. Very spacious, comfortable bed and furniture and an enormous bathroom with everything you could need. The air-conditioning worked very well. There was a drinking water machine and a coffee machine plus a fridge of course. We only had breakfast one morning which was held in their other building across the road. The breakfast was limited but fine. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ipoh. There are Grab vehicles everywhere in Ipoh so no problem at all in getting around to see the sights.

Cons: On one occasion we experienced some noise in the room but this was very quickly resolved by the staff/ management.

Boutique, unique, spotlessly clean.

Pros: Warm welcome, tasty breakfast, spotlessly clean and comfortable, unique decor, thoughtfully presented, friendly hosts. Easily walkable to the old town. If you're a golfer, we had a lovely round with hired clubs and buggy at Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Resort.

Cons: We enjoyed Ipoh and the Bedrock Hotel very much.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in

Pros: Bedrock is a quirky but beautiful hotel. Debbie and Mr Yee and brilliant hosts, so friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and facilities exceptional. Breakfast was good with delicious pastries!
