Perfect simple accomodation in the heart of town

Pros: Very responsive host - he provided all the check-in/ check-out information beforehand to make the process super easy and was very quick to respond and sort anything we needed. PERFECT location to walk everywhere while being on a quiet street to get a good kip. Lovely clean rooms, picture don’t do it justice. Free cold filter water downstairs. Lift works. Overall, we loved our stay and great value for money!

Easy , convenient and super friendly

Pros: The self check in was easy and convenient as the locker was right in front of the entrance and all progress getting the pass and room quality was exceptional. And also the person who contacted via WhatsApp for guidance and requests is so helpful and efficient.

Pros: I had an exceptional stay at Sky Hive. My business meeting ended around 12.30 p.m., and my friend was unfortunately feeling unwell with a stomach ache. The manager was incredibly kind and understanding and allowed us a late check-out at no extra charge so he could use a bathroom a bit longer. This level of genuine care and flexibility is rare. The service is top-notch, and I’ll definitely be returning. 10/10 stars!

Overall, it’s worth the price and I’d definitely recommend it for a short getaway with friends.

Pros: I really liked the strategic location, cleanliness, and overall comfort. The facilities were great, and the self check-in/check-out process was very easy with clear instructions. The room matched the price perfectly, and the water pressure was good too. The hospitality was also excellent!

Cons: It was a bit noisy even after midnight, but I understand it’s beyond their control since they already reminded guests to keep the noise down after 10pm. It’s still manageable and understandable.

Pros: Despite being unstaffed the staff I communicated with via text were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient, in a good area in Penang with lots around. Great cold water dispenser in the lobby Comfy bed Clean

Cons: The bathroom being behind a window in the room with a curtain is an interesting design decision for sure. It's fine if you're happy to just close the curtain and are staying with someone you are close to. The shower was pretty hit or miss as to whether it got hot

Pros: Perfect for a place to explore Georgetown from. The room has all the basics one needs to relax and plan your visits. The wifi works and everything was clean and fresh. Boston Coffee which is right on the other side of the street is a very cool coffee house that can deliver a good breakfast to get you going. Many places worth visiting within Georgetown itself are in walking distance and you can easily spend time in a bar or getting food then get back to the room. I'd book the place again. Cheers
