Beautiful new stylish hotel, and impeccable service

Pros: The rooms were incredible. Super clean. Amazing view of the sea (we got the traders room with a sea view). But the best thing about this hotel was the service. Every single person was so helpful and kind. Shoutout to aminul at the pool - who went over and beyond. All the staff at the hotel reception and breakfast were also amazing. We had a slight issue with our taxi on the way to the hotel and the staff at the door also went over and beyond to help us out. Just such great service - would recommend anyone to stay here in Penang. Really was the highlight of our trip in Malaysia.

Cons: Gym got really hot. I think they could improve the air conditioning in the gym.

Pros: I liked the beautiful colonial interiors, the attention to detail, like the beautiful brass Horse head door handles, the spacious bathroom, the gorgeous ocean view and of course the hospitable staff

Pros: Renovated rooms, relaxed, quiet, helpful staff, good location for buzzing along the coast.

Cons: Breakfast is very average but local options are excellent. No food service of any kind after 10.30pm.

Pros: Everything was new and of excellent quality. Lovely pool area and gym. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! And the staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful at all times.

Casual elegance in Penang

Pros: Beautiful decor, friendly staff, lovely spa facilities.

Cons: Staff were very friendly, just not polished for a 5 star hotel. The little extras were missing for an establishment of this stature and when you are paying $$$$

Good stay and would recommend to others.

Pros: The Hotel is new and modern. The staff were very welcoming and professional. We were upgraded and the room we got was amazing, comfortable and had a seaview.

Cons: For such a nice hotel we were disappointed by the breakfast which was relatively cold each morning. I hope that someone notices this and addresses it as I am sure we are not the only ones to notice. The coffee was good.

Wonderful Hotel with Excellent staff

Pros: Hotel has Excellent service and facilities. Staff are courteous, proactive and professional, especially the doormen, security, concierge, front office reception, and a very hardworking housekeeping team. The hotel is generous with complimentary water and room amenities . Rooms are well maintained, with minor bathroom mould removal recommended to maintain the bath area in tip top condition. Special commendation to Ms Teh Yifen the Senior Duty Manager for her assistance in a minor incident. She’s intelligent, quick thinking, has a proactive attitude, and a professional.

Cons: The swimming pool design does not facilitate lap swimming. This was the only disappointment. We didn’t use the pool at all.
