Pros: Great attentive staff. Well presented hotel. If staying over 3 nights, there's a complimentary laundry service which is excellent.

Pros: The hotel was in a great location ,on a very central and busy street. We didn’t mind the noise from the bars, they generally went quiet about midnight . Everything to see and do was within walking distance. Room was big, the air con was good, very comfortable bed and luxurious linen. We had two double beds in the family room with a seating area. Staff were very friendly too.

Cons: The pool was in the car park . With some screening this could easily be improved . It was a real bonus feature to have a pool in this area, as it is so hot in Penang.

Great base. Nice stay

Pros: Check in was very easy and staff were friendly. Room was great and bed was comfortable. Pool area out back was ideal for a chill but maybe could do with a couple of recliners. Location was ideal for exploring. Hotel looks very historic, from what I can find out it was a gangster hangout and opium den many, many years ago

Cons: Somewhat old, could do with some upgrade. Reception should be more knowledgeable in providing info on transport and nearby places of interest.

Great stay

Pros: Nice, big, clean room. Provided toiletries, water, tea everyday. Free laundry service for staying 4 nights. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great location in walking distance to everything. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Cons: No window with natural light but it was fine as it kept it cool.

Lovely Comfortable place in the heart of Georgetown

Pros: Lovely place in the middle of Historic center, everything in walking distance. Comfortable room and bed. Kind and helpful staff. The pool is nice to have a cooling dip after a long day of exploring. Will be back!
