Sleep Box Penang

Pros: Sleepbox staff were extremely friendly, always smiling when I entered/exited the lobby. Amenities were free to grab whenever you needed them, with water coolers on each floor so it's easy to refill as I'm coming in and out. The aircon works fast and the wifi was good. Whilst I do agree there was music from the neighbouring club, it stopped around midnight so it didn't bother me. Bathrooms felt safe to use even though the sinks are mixed genders. The women's section has a curtain for separation and I didn't feel worried. It was easy to find food around in all directions. Thank you for the lovely stay! I would definitely come back.

Great stay, soft beds, clean & nice hotel 🙌

Pros: Great place! Clean, nice ambience, friendly staff & great location. The rooms are equipped well, super comfy soft beds (I slept like a baby) and felt very safe (as a woman travelling on my own). Great extra point: they have washing machines & dryers - free of charge & also laundry detergent & softener are provided for free 🙏 amazing

Immaculate cleaner comfortable and low maintenance place to stay.

Pros: The room was fantastic. Perfectly sized immaculately clean. The staff were very nice and helpful in regards to Hotel matters.

Cons: I feel the staff could have been a little more knowledgeable about things in the area to do eat and drink. They were very helpful though.

Pros: Location was great! Walking distance from the main things to do. Room was very comfy and bathroom was clean and nice to use. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! Would stay there again!

Cons: I stayed from Friday to Monday and apparently since it was the weekend there is a bar/restaurant right next to the hotel which blasts loud indian music the whole night, although this is out of the hotel's control.

Pros: The room was comfy, clean, the bed was really good, it was nice to have some privacy! Super friendly staff and good location throughout.

Pros: The facilities awesome!! Just the room is not that big as you see in the picture I took but convenient enough for 2 persons, with 1 small luggage and 1 backpack.

Cons: Busy area is fine but a lot of club around and 1 of it is just next door. You can probably hear the sound until 3 am.

Pros: The location is excellent next to several tourist cafes in Georgetown. Many of the main attractions are within walking distance. There is free laundry available and plenty of showers and toilets. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Overall this was excellent value for money

A nice, cosy little hotel suitable for a small group.

Pros: The strategic location as you can pretty much walk to anywhere else in Georgetown without a long walk. Moreover, the room is small but cosy, one which is suitable for a small group of friends or maybe couples.

Cons: The toilet, which is a shared one, is sometimes not the cleanest. While not necessarily dirty, I hope that hotel guests should take care of the cleanliness of the lavatory more and, most importantly, try their best to keep the 'dry' zone dry.

Perfect place for short stay in Penang!

Pros: Back at Sleepbox after two years. Everything feels the same. The staff are nice and friendly. Location is spot on for sure, just a few mins walk to chulia street night hawker street.

Cons: Nothing.

Overall ok just toilet not too clean and aircon a bit hot. At night a bit noisy

Cons: Not enough pillow, should provide one person 2 pillows. The toilet with cockroach when I first taking bath there... I used shampoo to kill the cockroach. The bedroom air-condition is very hot compared to the lobby area. At night a bit noisy with bars outside, staff provided earplugs for us
