The Prestige Hotel Penang

Loved it!

Pros: Loved this hotel, the pool was stunning, perfect temperature and often very quiet. A must-have for how hot it is in February. The location was perfect, a short walk from all the attractions. The staff were lovely. The hotel is carpeted, even the rooms, meaning it’s so super quiet which I loved, got some great sleeps! Room service food very tasty and reasonably priced. Didn’t want to leave!

Pros: Our second time staying. Location just prime and staff always do helpful and friendly

Pros: Location was great - close to seafront and beautiful colonial buildings. Within easy walking distance of all the action in Georgetown. The rooftop area is great. The daily pop-up cocktail bar is nice. Drinks by the infinity pool looking out to sea are relished.

Cons: The gym wasn’t great for a hotel of this rating. More free weights and a bench would make a big difference. Room service food wasn’t very good unfortunately.

Would definately stay again

Pros: What a beautiful hotel. We booked this be because it was only 5 mins or so walk to reach the Indian quarter but extremely quiet at night. Fantastic room with a very large and comfortable bed. We didn’t have breakfast as preferred to eat on the go. Great selection of films on the tv. Easy reach to walk anywhere!

Pros: Rooms are pretty, love the free movies, food was good.

Pros: Nicely presented, clean and room was good, stylish although a bit quirky. Pool area has nice view.

Cons: Pool is not that big, nor gym (2 people max) Breakfast options average. Staff bit too junior, didn't always understand english well. Location is nice/quiet but also some way to walk to old town center.

Super stay in a super hotel

Pros: Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Ate breakfast and one dinner at the hotel. good choice of options and the best gluten free bread I’ve had so far travelling around SE AsiaSmart, modern (art deco style), clean. Room Was a nice size and very comfortable and clean. Free drink on arrival was a nice touch. Good location, easy walking distance around the heritage area of Penang.

Pros: Prestige is very well located , had the best breakfast in my entire trip. I had a round trip from Singapore to Penang and the Kuala Lumpur. The chefs were extremely kind and helpful. They ensured we had a pleasant stay. You have a free marketer here in Ug . All your staff are friendly and helpful but your chefs went an extra mile. NB; Their lunch and dinner prices are good

Cons: Nothing. I am very particular person, but all my expectations were exceeded

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Georgetown

Pros: My main priorities are location, and a quiet comfortable room for a good night’s sleep. I was struggling to find both in Georgetown, so glad someone on Reddit recommended this place. I would not stay anywhere else while in Georgetown. The location was fantastic, we walked everywhere and there are great food places and markets nearby. It is probably one of the fanciest hotels we have ever stayed in, with all the bells and whistles. Room had very nice design features, the bathroom was really cool and the bed was comfortable, it was so quiet I had great sleep.
