A lovely, tranquil place to stay amongst all the busyness of Georgetown.

Pros: Location was great. Right in the heart of little India. The building and the decor were a great example of Dutch/ Chinese architecture. A beautiful building.. The staff were very helpful and efficient.

Cons: A strange smell in the room. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Beautiful place

Pros: The mansion / guest house has a lot of character as it's a historical building. It's very pretty and nicely decorated, and has many plants. To give an idea, the layout is somewhat similar to riads in Morocco, where the rooms are facing an internal yard. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and quite tall. The bed was wide enough for two people. Staff was pleasant.
