Central to old Chinatown

Pros: Premium twin room on floor 2 with a balcony had a very spacious quality bathroom, excellent sound proofing and very clean. Slightly on the small side but close to a 4 star standard . Location was close to free CAT bus, bus terminus, and Jetty Food Court where we found great Indian food and many other cuisines.

Cons: Don't hope to get an early check-in.

Pros: The room was clean and new, sheets were fresh as well. Hotel is located just opposite of the Pengkalan Weld ferry area, and also Rapid Penang hub, so it was easy to catch buses going around. It seems newly renovated as well, based on the furnishing styles. I loved the mirror/tv sliding picture! Location is prime - there is so much to do within walking distance.

Cons: We had a room facing a building's multi-level carpark, and its rather near. Anyone in the carpark could easily see inside the room when the lights are on, and if the curtains aren't shut.

Great Hotel

Pros: Fantastic location, clean spacious room, friendly staff, enjoyable continental Breakfast. Comfortable bed, amazing shower overall a great place to stay and base for exploring Georgetown, everything on your door step.

Comfortabel

Pros: Good, central location. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. Very nice bathroom. We arrived early and could check in straight away.

Cons: There are no film channels on the television and there is not really anywhere to sit in the lobby (or the room) which is a shame if you don't feel like staying out after dinner. Breakfast has many, cooked, choices for Asian guests, not so much for western taste, but that is understandable, we are in Asia after all.

Nice rooms and good location

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was located less than 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and right by little India. All the main attractions were walking distance away.

Cons: The bathroom, shower in particular, needed a scrub. The cubby hole for the toiletries was covered in black mould as well as shower walls.
