Good Stay

Pros: View of the sea and scenery of Tanjung Bungah from 25th floor was astonishing, breath taking, loved it, a 10 out 10!! Nice, big balcony to sit and take it all in! The studio was big enough and comfortable for the most part with bar fridge, microwave, few dishes, water filter, etc. Liked that it had a big closet for clothing, but needed hangers, only 2 was provided. Liked the clothes drying rack that I used a couple times on the balcony. Enough mirrors, desk, chair, and couch. Liked that there was a bathtub with a rain shower head and shower curtain, so no wet washroom like a lot of other places. Easy self check in with door code that was provided well in advance. Liked there was a pool, but think it could be cleaned of fallen leaves more often. The guy in charge of that mostly sat there and smoked.

Cons: The main thing I did not like is there was no cleaning. I stayed 10 days and they did not clean, when I enquired about that, they said there is no cleaning. I can understand if your stay is only 1-4 days without cleaning, but 10 days I could not. Good thing I know how to keep my space clean and tidy. I had to ask for clean towels and garbage pick up. I would have rated Maisie 9 but minused 1 point for the no cleaning. Also, there is a few minor repairs and maintenance work that needs to be done like the leak in the tiolet, the bottom of the wall by the drying rack, the AC needs to be cleaned out, smells very dusty when u turn it on. The curtains smells moldy, needs to be washed and cleaned, some tile work in the bathroom, etc. There were 3 elevators, only 2 worked, and 1 out of the 2 did not go up to the 25th floor, had to take the stairs from 24th floor a couple times.

Serene place

Pros: The view is superb. Is clean and tidy, just a bit worn down as the building is 30+ years already. There's a family mart just few mins walk away. Also very spacious room.

Pros: Very spacious apartment with an amazing view from its two balconies. I used the place as my digital nomad base for a week and it was absolutely great. Good internet connection suitable for video calls without breaking up, comfortable working spaces in both rooms, clean and comfy bed, spacious bathroom. The hotel pool was large, quite deep and long enough to be suitable even for swimming training (~20 meters in its longest parts) as it was mostly empty. Location ideal for exploring Penang via public transport - bus line 101, which covers most of the points of interest, stops right at the hotel. Infrequent direct airport bus available too. Few good restaurants and a hawker centre within short walking distance.

Cons: The living room couch was a little stained and not exactly inviting to sit on - could use deep cleaning once a while. Lifts in the building had somewhat longer waiting time in peak hours (but still bearable, never longer than 5 mins wait).
