Meru Suites at Meru Valley Resort

Pros: - Safety of the place is superb - Staff is very friendly - Staff always smiling and willing to help you no matter what your problem - Atmosphere at that place is quiet and calm, very good for healing

Cons: - Choice of breakfast menu are to limited - Swimming pool are to small - Restaurant at club house close to early at night at 9pm - Buggy are used to send us to club house to limited

Pros: room spacious. clean, very convenient stay, staff is good n polite. Overall i would recommended to friends and family.

Productive and a good retreat from the city

Pros: Very quiet and peaceful.. good for retreating from the hustle and bustle of the city

Nice, clean apartments.

Pros: The apartments and facilities were lovely. Check in staff were friendly and the process was smooth.

Cons: Unfortunately our room smelled badly of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We were also disappointed that the tennis courts were only accessible to members as we had planned to play! Perhaps some clarity on facilities included (in then information) would help.

Good greenery resort but services stop at 8pm

Pros: It’s not located in Ipoh town but we stayed there for local friend’s home proximity to do pick up etc. It’s a well maintained golf resort so it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery and facilities include free laundry room.

Cons: The ventilator in the bathroom extremely noise and blow out heated air which is very unbearable especially in such hot weather!! Reception and any other staff off duty after 8pm making it difficult to contact for service and support

A good last minute booking

Pros: On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the suite was clean and comfortable and had a view overlooking the golf course and pool area. It had lovely modern decor, a good fridge and kettle. The cafe where we bought breakfast (croissants and coffee) was good and we were able to sit outside on the terrace. We also ate both nights in the restaurant which was busy as it was Chinese New Year, but the meals we had were good and the staff worked hard and were helpful and friendly. It was a last minute booking as we initially had booked 4 nights in Cameron Highlands but then realising there wasn't enough to do there, so Ipoh looked to be the next best place to stay on our way to Georgetown. We were very pleased with everything and we took a taxi into Ipoh to see all the street art which was amazing. A good choice for a 2 night stay.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Resort in quiet location with fresh air

Pros: I left a shirt in the room. The resort informed me to go to collect.

A comfortable stay for the family

Pros: The apartment was well thought out. Very comfortable

Cons: More masseuse at one time

It was a nice experience for a short golf holiday and would recommend to friends and family.

Pros: Facilities for the whole family eg pickle ball/ tennis/ golf etc

Cons: It was generally fine except more masseuse at the spa perhaps. A one stop shop nearby would help..
