Pros: I recently stayed at Sayong Resort and had a pleasant experience. The resort is ideally situated near a picturesque river, which adds a serene touch to the overall ambiance. Additionally, there is a mosque nearby, though accessing it from the hotel proved a bit challenging. The room itself was quite spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay— the food was both delicious and well-prepared. Based on this enjoyable experience, I would definitely consider returning to Sayong Resort in the future.

Cool stay by the river resort

Pros: Location is nice, right by the river. Wonderful view of Sg. Perak. Temperature around the resort is cooling, had very comfortable sleep

Cons: No fridge/mini bar in the standard queen & twin bedroom. The shower water pressure is a bit low.

Just because I need to be here..

Pros: Location. Comfortable bed. Nice cafe serving tasty food.

Cons: No minibar. Water heater wasn’t functioning, it was pretty cold to shower early in the morning. There was a foul smell in the bathroom, probably came from the pipe//sewage. Had to spray my perfume to get rid of the smell.

Pros: clean & spacious room, comfortable beds. breakfast was good too with choices of nasi lemak, mee goreng, mushroom soup, bread & cereals.

Cons: radio sound from the canteen early in the morning is quite loud. not really a probs but wish it could be lower

Great stay with affordable pricing!

Pros: The room was spacious even for the standard size. I got the standard twin room. For the price it was totally worth it. The general room was clean as well. The meals from the cafe is great. The price is pretty cheap and affordable too. As for general vibes of the resort, it's pretty chill too, at night you'll get to fell the breeze accompanied by the river sounds. Location is pretty close to town. Staff are all friendly and accommodating too. They assure me they I can keep my room when I was still deciding if we should spent and extra night (which we did).

Cons: Breakfast spread was pretty small but for us it was sufficient. However, I foresee that some people might not get to enjoy the breakfast if they came late though. Some road to the resort is pretty old and narrow, so drive extra careful. Not a concern but for some that may want to come, the cold and hot water in the shower is switched. So blue is hot, red is cold. lol

My stay here was satisfactory. Value for money

Pros: Breakfast spread was rather small but just enough. I love the simplicity. Location wise is really good, just by the river - view is amazing and tranquil, and very near the town. Receptionists were nice and friendly.

Cons: The room could have been cleaner when we first checked in. Toilet and bedsheet had some stain. But after room make up it was sparkly and fragrant though. Parking spots were also quite confusing.
