Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location for exploring Georgetown

Pros: We had an excellent time in Georgetown and this was partly because of the wonderful apartment we stayed in. It is stylish, spacious and in a great location next to the market. The owners were very communicative and gave lots of recommendations as well as organising some group activities (we could not join any of these as we had other plans but they sounded great).

Beautiful room in nice part of town

Pros: Beautiful room in a really tastefully renovated property, in a nice part of town easy walking from all the main sites. Really helpful and responsive staff - I was struggling with the air con when I arrived and someone came round straight away to help.

Cons: The shared bathroom could get very wet after use, but was kept very clean and shared bathroom is highlighted in the property ads - maybe a shower curtain could help?

Pros: The vibe here is very calm and cozy. Most importantly it's very clean.

Pros: The location is excellent and the staff response to query promptly. The warm touch of welcoming note was lovely as well.

Pros: Very nice place and perfect location. The staffs are very kind. I highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional space, great ambeince, comfortable atmosphere and very tastefully decorated.

Pros: The space is great; I was really impressed by the repurposed tailoring house, which has now been beautifully and tastefully turned into this living space. It was very comfortable living here.

Cons: The bathroom is on the ground floor in the backyard, so sometimes it is a bit of a walk, especially in the middle of the night : ) but this doesn't overshadow the overall experience of the stay.

Pros: It's an ideal location for those who are backpacking/traveling on a budget and want to have the full Georgetown experience. Very Central and walking distance to all the attractions. The staff was fantastic and extremely responsive. Loved our stay there

Excellent location, above average comfort for a weekend stay

Pros: Location of the unit is right above Chowrasta Food Market. The biggest plus point is that it’s surrounded by eateries. Kimberly St night market is 5 mins walk away, and 1st Avenue mall 10 mins walk away, Hin Bus Depot also a 12 min walk. The hosts were very friendly, supportive, and allowed us to check in early and we were also allowed to leave our luggage in the indoors lower ground foyer after checking out, which we were very grateful for!! Air conditioning was strong, there was plenty of space to put your luggage and it was clean. Grab pickups are convenient if you specify Penang Bazaar as the landmark.

Cons: Light sleepers take note -the market is right beneath so you will hear human and vehicle activity in the wee hours of the morning when stalls are being set up and chatter of people having breakfast in the alley. The noise was largely muted by a glass partition and the room is long. It’s also up a narrow flight of steep wooden stairs so it’s not suitable for the elderly or if you have heavy luggage. Not for fussy travelers.

Pleasant stay but would be better if bottled drinking water are to be provided in view of the hot weather of Penang.

Pros: Good location convenient for shopping and eating, no unpleasant smell

Cons: The staircase up to the room is not favourite especially for those who has knees issues and large luggage. The toilet/bathroom is very hot because of the hot air from the aircon compressor.

Chowrasta market accommodation

Pros: The place seems to be new. The location is close to the cafes and restaurants on Lebuh Campbell. Prompt communication with the host. Late checkout.

Cons: The location is by a major street and the Chowrasta market which makes the place noisy around the clock. The bathroom is not ensuite. It’s a stand-alone corner outside. Its metal roof gets heated during the day, making it very hot by the evening - an unpleasant experience.
