Pros: The staff is nice and very helpful. The facilities are comfy and clean

Cons: The bathroom could be better and the room has humidity

Pros: Sutharsan and Kamran were very kind and did a good job 👍🏽

Pros: It's a great place to stay if you want a private room on a budget. Free tea, coffee and filtered water is great.

Cons: I don't really like showering in the same small room as the toilet but that's pretty typical in Asia and everything works great in the bathroom

Perfect stay for budget exploring georgetown

Pros: Quite a perfect little spot for travellers exploring georgetown. In the centre of everything, walkable to most famous sites cafes and the jetty. Easy check in, surprisingly confortable beds and pillows, chilly aircond, and functional showers. On a friday midnight there was barely any noise. All for a really cheap rate! Would revisit next time

Pros: Very friendly staff and helpful. I was waiting for the approval of my visa; they gave me a good rate because of the uncertainty I was dealing with. Highly recommend

Pros: 1.Very clean, comfortable, great location. 2. Easy check in

Cons: 1.The room with the adjustable louvers window is very noisy as it is right next to next doors exhaust fan. Should change to fixed glass window. 2.No night light.

Would stay again if happen to visit Penang.

Pros: Very new hostel. Coffee, tea and water included. Prime location. Rooms are nice and cozy

Cons: Very thin walls, therefore quite loud. Loud karaoke next door which kept us awake for a while. The equipment feels a bit cheap, hopefully it’s not all broken in a few months.

Hidden gem

Pros: Super clean as it appears to be a new/renovated hotel but without signage so difficult to find. lt is at top of stairs at right side of White Smoke restaurant and about 3min walk from ferry and bus terminal, walking distance to main sites in George Town, and restaurants. Super clean bed room, bed linen, towels and very comfortable bed, good air conditioner, handy desk and small bottle of water but close to Karoke bar. Large hot shower room separate to toilet, and good hair dryer. Great supply of coffee, tea, sugar, powdered milk and hot water including cold water and a clean fridge. Free copies of sightseeing and restaurant maps. Code is sent to enter hotel and room. So convenient and comfortable that l stayed an extra night.

Cons: No lockers for early check-ins or late check-outs. No washing machine. Bed against the wall so impracticable for second person. No beside table and light.
