Travelodge Georgetown

Very nice stay

Pros: Nice spacious room with great AC, modern decor, strong shower and a view over the city. Room was cleaned every day, excellent quality! Sheets and towels were nice. Clean pool in the shade. One sun lounger, and a few chairs & tables by the pool. Gym with some weights and machines. Breakfast was 20RM per person per day and had adequate choices: eggs, toast, peanut butter, jam, sausages, rice, hash browns, cucumber, watermelon, juice and coffee. Location is good, but too far to walk to the city center.

Cons: Gym was not always clean. There was no disinfectant to clean the equipment. The AC in the gym doesn’t make the room cooler, only circulates the air like a fan. it gets really hot in the gym. The room often smelled like sewage, had to keep the bathroom fan on at all times. Breakfast was not kept warm.

Our 3rd Wonderful Travelodge Stay

Pros: Rooms are lovely & big with comfortable beds, recently remodelled I believe. Shower was great & the bathroom clean & shiny. Very good value for money in a wonderful area for local food & massages. Location is excellent with many people around for the international types of street food. You can get any type of food here you like. Pool is not too big but very nice and refreshing. This was our 3rd stay in Travelodge Penang for 3 days and it was wonderful.

Cons: Little bit noisy with traffic & construction but being on the 2nd floor is to be expected. Quite a lot of building going on in the area so the noise starts early. This is December 2025 so I'm sure by this time next year the construction will be completed.

Convenient Stay in the Heart of Georgetown

Pros: A very convenient stay with easy access to nearby food courts, mini marts, and other essentials. A great location for anyone looking for comfort and convenience

Pros: Good location, easy to find, simple yet comfortable room, a lot of restaurant nearby..

Cons: Bath Room a bit smelly

Pros: Everything is good.. Room also big and was given baby cot for my baby.. Awesome.. Keep it up..

Cons: Doesn't have enough parking.. Need to parking the car at the outside hotel..

Nice stay!

Pros: Swimming pool was perfect after a long day of exploring. Security and cleaners were realy nice. We could store the luggage and use the lobby (airco) after checkout to wait for out flight.

Cons: Rooms are perfect. Only a little smell in the room. Not to bad at all, but a little noticeable.

Good location and friendly staffs

Pros: Aircon very cold, if not cold enough my husband will not sleep well.

Cons: Gym not properly equipped.

It was a pleasant experience, similar to the last few times I stayed here.

Pros: The location is excellent to my workplace and food is abundance.

Cons: None

Pros: The room is clean , the breakfast is good and great location.

Reasonably good stay

Pros: Room was spacious. Although it is on a busy location but was not noisy for a good rest, exception on festive season with the booming of fireworks all over town. Many nearby restaurants in walking distance and also the convenience store. Good that there is the water dispenser on very floor that you can refill the water container (jug) in the room anytime. There is breakfast available at the hotel itself although I didn't opt for it for this work trip. Sufficient room amenities.

Cons: The floor should be checked more for cleanliness as at the time of check in, there was a hairball seen at the corner near the bed.
