RARE Heritage House

Pros: The location is amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful. The shower worked perfectly and the bed was comfortable. Great value for money.

Good services!

Pros: Location is good, walking distance to various sightseeing spots. The services were great, we had few problems during our stay, the staff gave us the best solutions. Much appreciated!

Cons: WIFI in my room (103) was so poor that I only relied on my own data (sometimes also poor connection) There is lack of instructions on how to use the switch for bathing, I almost was injured by boiling water. Occationally smelly in toilet but not a big problem.

Rare Heritage House

Pros: We had a lovely room, it was road side so you could hear traffic noise but it was a lovely room. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the hotel decor was nice. The location was great, with easy walks to Armenian St, Little India and the clan jetties. The girls on reception were very nice and friendly too. We would happily stay again.

Pros: This was an extremely wonderful experience. The room was impeccable. Most importantly, when I left, I forgot my headphones. The hotel staff kept them for me for a few days and helped me get them back by express delivery smoothly. I'm very grateful to them.

Pros: The Heritage House features beautiful, exotic decor that blends modern touches with the building’s original architecture. The warm lighting creates a cozy atmosphere, and the bed was soft and comfortable. My family stayed on the second floor and enjoyed a quiet night’s sleep with no noise disturbances. The location is excellent—just a short walk to vibrant street art, cafes, and a variety of restaurants.

Cons: One downside was the basin in the bathroom—it was quite small and not very practical. Water splashed easily, leaving the toilet floor wet most of the time.

Pros: The location is excellent. The hotel is actually right in George Town, so there’s no need to worry about getting lost or not being able to find the way back. Plus, there are many food stalls nearby, which makes it super convenient.

Cons: The space is a bit small, which isn’t very convenient for solo travelers with large luggage. Also, the lighting only has one option – yellow light – so it’s a bit hard to see clearly.

Pros: Clean room, fast wifi, free refill water, bathroom was cute, location was excellent, close to everywhere!! And you can get in from both Victoria Street or beach Street!

Cons: Unfortunately my room was right next to the road, stayed 5 nights almost waking up early morning by the noises..

Good place to stay with family

Pros: Good very stylish accommodation, near to everything by walking distance .

Cons: The floor drain on the bathroom have to be cleaning often , the hair is clogging the drain and it make it got smell when bath .

Pros: Within walking distance to attractions such as Armenian Street and Clan Jetties and just 20-min drive to/from the airport. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Clean and spacious, environmentally friendly. Staff are nice and accommodating, reception open 24 hours. Comfortable pillows and soft bed (I slept really well).

Cons: Our room is at the end, close to the street so can hear cars and people coming in/out. They said we can enter the backdoor but the key doesn’t work. No shampoo and slippers. Should upgrade the locks, use keycard is better than traditional key. Requested two single beds but gave us king bed. A extra chair would be nice since there’s 2 of us. Clothes hanger too short and lamp not working. But towel rack too tall (like almost at the roof) as well as the mirror.
