Great place overall, soundproofing could be better.

Pros: Very modern, rooms were lovely and the facilities. Location doesn't get any better in George Town.

Cons: Steps outside the room can be heard clearly and vibrates the bed. So earplugs are a must since theres some traffic.

Pros: Excellent location, walking distance to all the sights in old town. The receptionist lent us umbrellas since it was raining.

Cons: It's a heritage building so some noise is to be expected, especially people walking along the corridor. Luggage storage cost 15RM instead of being included.

Pros: Really loved the place. It’s cosy, aesthetic and extremely clean.

Cons: There’s no common area as well as luggage room, hence if you’re reaching the place before check-in time you’ll have to roam around with your baggage.

Pros: A lovely hostel in one of the historic buildings of old town george town. Bed in the dorm room was comfy and private with good AC. The staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly.

Pros: AC was super cool and clean. The shared facilities are also clean. I asked for a bottom bunk bed, and they allowed it. Really appreciated.

Chatming and cozy place

Pros: Perfect location, close to several sightseeing spots, as well as bars and restaurants. We loved the place, a historic shophouse in the center of town that was transformed into a guesthouse, everything is new and the rooms were very cozy and well decorated, with top quality bed linen and bath towels. The room had amenities from slippers to items like toothpaste, toothbrushes and makeup remover. The air conditioning worked perfectly (essential with the heat reaching around 40 degrees C). The bathroom was very good, with a great shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. There was always a cold water filter available. *There is no breakfast. *They charge a deposit of 100 rings at check-in, which must be paid in cash. *They charge 10 rings per bag per hour to storage luggage after check-out.
