The Lang Hoose

Pros: Very nice guesthouse with a beautiful interior and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The location is excellent, right in George Town and close to many places. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Pros: The hotel it’s very well located, close to all the attractions and well connected to transports. Rooms are confortables a spacious and the straff very friendly.

Pros: Great location and host was very helpful and gave some good recommendations for food and drink. Room was upgraded also which was nice

Pros: The location is excellent, very close to the pier. It takes only 10 minutes to walk there. It's also very close to the Chew Jetty. There is a large shopping mall just a 20-minute walk away. There are several durian shops nearby and the durians are very delicious. The boss provides water for free. You can bring your own water cup to get water. The room is clean and tidy, with air conditioning and a fan. The WiFi is excellent. I can browse short videos online without any lag at all. When I left, since I couldn't get a taxi to the airport, the boss personally drove me to see me off. He was very enthusiastic.

A nice stay at the Lang Hoose

Pros: A lovely hotel situated within the UNESCO heritage site, it's quarky and colourful, and often quiet as guests, like myself, were mostly out. The hotel staff were friendly and provided the basic necessities. Note that bathrooms are shared but this did not seem an issue for me; couples/families may find this inconvenient. For me, it was refreshing to stay at an old building away from modern amenities and the hussle and bussle.

Cons: Bring mozzy spray - got bitten a few times. Areas in my room could have done with a dust down Advertised as parking, there is no dedicated parking facilities

Pros: The owner is very kind and available, give me quite some time of his to instruct me on what to do to reach my next destination...
