Fifth Avenue Hotel

Pros: A very comfortable hotel conveniently located. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: the size of the wook, the view from the room, the swimming pool view, smart TV Location is very good, walkable to the market and there's a nice upstairs coffe shop just 1 min away with nice cake Easy to go around and explore the city. The date I booked the price is okay

Cons: the lift is sooooo hot!!!!!!!!, can't breath after midday the pool towel really need to sign in and out Breakfast is not very tasty... it seems a lot but actully can't find anything special. Exaple, there's fruit but basic watermelon, melon or pineapple but except the watermelon is sweet, the other is just not really tasty.... and nothing special or what you expect in Malaysia, only one day I can saw the dragon fruit but it just gone very fast and no more.. Bakery is also very basic... nothing impress so end up I didn't eat much.

Great location in a modern clean immaculate hotel

Pros: Upstairs pool great for relaxing afternoon. The reception, lobby, and rooms were all clean and modern. Great location - can walk to everything in Georgetown. Loved the breakfast area.

Cons: Reception staff could be a bit more friendly IMO

Great, new and clean property.

Pros: Appeared new, clean and well-maintained. Beautiful lobby area. Room had a small pantry with microwave and mini fridge which was comvenient. Bathroom had a little dressing area nook which was also nice to have.

Cons: The bathroom should have a proper door instead of the rattan sliding one for privacy purposes. The pantry ran hot as it was not connected to airconditioning. It would have been better to have an open bedroom plan with a microwave and fridge instead of a full dining area and pantry. The area around is a little rundown but it is convenient to live close to main Georgetown.

Great 5 star

Pros: Room was cleaned and big room. The parking is free. They allowed me to check in at around 1pm where the checked in time was supposed to be 3pm.

Cons: The breakfast is good but not as I expected as for a 5 star hotel. I called reception two times during my stay, I would suggest they need more training and improvement when picking up the call. I couldn't feel the smile from their response. At least they need to answer the query and say something before hanging up the phone. I was shocked that they just hung up.

Pros: Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of shops and amenities nearby. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Pros: We like the layout of the room. We like how we were provided with plate and bowls and dishwashing soap if we were to tapao food.

Pros: Stayed for 5 nights and it was excellent. New, smart and very comfortable hotel in great location, easy to talk in to the old town and with many good restaurants nearby. Great room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast with lots of Asian and Western options. We loved the top floor pool too - much bigger than expected - and with excellent views. Highly recommended.

If ever we are back in George Town we will stay in The Fifth Avenue Hotel.

Pros: Everything about the Fifth Avenue Hotel was excellent. The bedroom, breakfast and the staff. John & Reda, Eire.
