Excellent base to immerse yourself in fascinating George Town

Pros: Appealingly small-scale boutique business; engaging welcome from Anna; very spacious, high-ceilinged room, well equipped; elegantly presented breakfast, in courtyard; short walk from all the life and history of central George Town.

Cons: As warned when checking in, there is some noise nuisance for rooms at the front from live music at the food court across the road, but it didn't disturb us.

Beautiful heritage hotel in a great location in George Town

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Cheong Fatt Tze - The Qing Suites. The location is amazing, everything you’d want to see in George Town is within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and the history behind the Blue Mansion makes the place all the more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even letting us use a shower after checking out so we were fresh for our late evening flight. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you’re visiting George Town!
