Relaxing and enjoyable

Pros: We much appreciated the staff and particularly the welcome and help from Nurul and Joyce who were such a pleasure to interact with. And what a wonderful environment to be in surrounded by such thoughtful design and curated antiques. Lovely courtyard pool. A testament to the charming and interesting owner and creator Chris Ong.

Wonderful! Would stay here every time!

Pros: Gorgeous, well maintained and excellent location! Staff were all lovely. Pool was clean and beautiful. We adored the well done restoration. Would love to stay here again anytime.

Cons: It’s a small thing but a small smoking area with an ashtray would be nice. So we don’t have to throw butts on the ground.

Pros: Beautiful historic property in unbeatable location. Would return.

Cons: A very small quibble - the plug sockets were in the most inconvenient positions and the bathroom has showers in two wall with a very wet walkway between- but these are niggles.

Wonderful stay in a heritage hotel in the heart fo unesco zone. Wonderful staff . Beautiful restoration.

Pros: Great location, unusual quirky hotel - rooms are set in shophouse settings , decor is Baba Bling . Architectural and conservation wonder.

Cons: Design practicality - no bedside lights - we had to ask for them and staff were very attentive and provided it .

A step back in time for a real travel experience with modern day touches.

Pros: Joyce at reception was my introduction to a wonderful stay at 7 Terraces. She epitomizes the word hospitable and assisted in the smooth flow of my stay in downtown George Town. The ambience of the hotel made for a connection with the history of Pulau Pinang. 10/10 would rebook.

Cons: Lack of TV in bedroom.
