Pros: It’s away from the main busy street and well located in Georgetown.

Cons: No hair dryer

2-storey heritage house in a fantastic location

Pros: It’s a beautiful heritage shophouse turned into accommodation, and it fit our group of 3 adults comfortably. It is adequately furnished, the queen bed is really comfy and the dining area has a large enough table for work or dining-in. I would recommend this place for a short stay as the location is within walking distance to most attractions and eating places.

Cons: The house could do with a bit of spring cleaning, and tidying up. The walls are a bit thin, as we realised that we could hear the next door neighbours talking and vice versa. Although the property is situated on a small road & the traffic is light, the motorbike noise is like your morning alarm clock.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is convenient and has a lovely heritage style, with well-maintained terracotta tiles that add so much charm—just a short walk to several cafés, nasi padang stalls, Chowrasta Market, and the Hard Rock Café merchandise store. Parking is easy too; you can park right in front of the door. Breakfast was just a few steps away, which made our mornings easy. The open-air kitchen was also a nice touch and created a relaxing atmosphere. We visited the mansion museum right across the street, and it was definitely worth it—you get access to two museums with one ticket, including the Peranakan Museum, which is especially great for anyone who loves history.

Wonderful stay! We will be book again next time we come back.

Pros: Location is good. Furnishing is new. Instagramable. Place is big. Few beds.

Pros: House is beautifully Peranakan styled and comfortable. Central location, near to all the sights. Walking distance to eateries at SriBahari. There’s a big open shower (good for pet owners). Upstairs is the open floor where all the beds is to sleep 5 persons. There’s coffee,tea and salt/pepper, pasta in the cupboard. We can also buy Peranakan ladies costume, it’s for sale in the living room, just scan the QR code. I bought one to take photos around Penang.

Cons: Nothing at all! This place is perfect for families who want to be in an open space together, esp w young children. Both upstairs toilet and shower comes with shower body wash and shampoo. Dishwashing sponge was tiny. Towels are prepared on the bed so I don’t bring. I found bedroom slippers in the shoe cabinet, I think it’s just self service.
