Hotel Mokozoyo

Pros: I like the design of the room and the bed was comfy to sleep on. I like the idea of the book of rules where we can contact the counter by WhatsApp anytime. There is also a garment steamer for use on request which is an added value. The location is right in the middle which makes it easy to get to the places of attraction. They have bicycles for guests to cycle around Georgetown. The Sandwich Bar has a 10% discount for guests.

Cons: The pantry provides 2 in 1 coffee/ teh tarik with some popo snacks. It would be better if biscuits/cookies are added instead of unhealthy snacks. Perhaps it would be a great idea to provide a pair of scissors at the pantry bc the teh tarik pack simply cannot be opened. I was asked to go down to the counter for the scissors. I believe having a scissors at the pantry would save a lot of hassles. The automated handwash machine is not working and I have already told them I don't need it and yet the staff told me they will return it in 10 mins time after the charging. It kept me waited in the room.... And they were not back until the next day. Can't they just make a replacement immediately instead of keeping me waiting in the room? I don't mind to use the normal pump one instead of the fancy machine. The door seems to have activated the alarm device everytime I close it. Was it broken? The air conditioning system is not cold enough same as what the reviews say. So I don't have high expectations of it. On the last day, I had requested a time extension to check out as I couldn't get back on time. It's good that they allow it. But they came to knock at the door making it an unpleasant experience. Anyway, these are my experiences having to know it's a 3 star hotel. The price is slightly higher than the 4 Star hotel with sea view that I was in the day before. There is really a huge difference in servicing customers between the 3 and 4 Star hotel. Here the customers are not the priority....if you are here only for the interior design of the room, it's worth it.

Pros: Lovely hotel, with such a good vibe. Coffee shop downstairs is delicious and the bar in the hotel is such a vibe. Highly recommend.

Pros: Good location and facilities. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Convenient to have a coffee downstairs. Creative amenities inside the room. Bonus for the girls: hairdryer is good.

Pros: Great value for money. Stylish, minimal aesthetics. No frills comfort at affordable rates. Kool Kongsi Bar and Sandwich Café within the hotel premises is awesome.

Pros: The hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable to stay. Their room slippers are very firm to use.

Cons: They should provide 2 chairs for 2 pax

Cool modern hotel with good location

Pros: Very nice and beautiful hotel, we really liked the modern and simple decoration. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly. It was nice that there were lots of plants there and the cats were cute.

Cons: Couple things that weren’t even that big deal, but if they were changed I would give the hotel 10/10. The shower head could have been better, the bathroom in general was super modern and new, so it was weird that there weren’t a rain shower. Other thing is that the room didn’t have a fridge, there was a general fridge in the hallway, we found it pretty inconvenient. But like I said these weren’t that big of a deal to us and we still really liked the hotel!

Pros: Love the design of the hotel, clean, location was very good, friendly and helpful staffs. Love that there was a coffee shop right downstairs too

Cons: The parking was limited and if you’re there on a busy weekend or come back late, might not have parking for you

Pros: Bare necessities were met with a touch of modern minimal luxury

Cons: The chair in my room was abit wonky, one of the screws were loose, but didn’t affect me too much when i was seated on it.. still, would appreciate if the management looks into the smaller details
